Unlike plastic, which can contain dangerous substances (for example, bisphenol A), reed is absolutely safe to use, as it does not contain harmful impurities, and due to its 100% plant origin, it has a beneficial effect on the environment. The tubes do not contain polyethylene film, as in other disposable items, so they can be used for hot drinks. It also allows for the safe disposal of already used straws, composting them together with other organic residues, creating fertilizers for indoor plants.
PRODUCTION
Each tube is made by hand and goes through a multi-step processing process that includes: cleaning, cutting, grinding, soaking (necessary to get rid of gluten on the walls of the stems) and drying. All raw materials are disinfected and washed in special bubble baths, then the tubes are dried in heat-treated vine baskets during the next day. After that, the product is checked for quality and packaged. All products are certified.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE AND STORAGE
We recommend using reed tubes for thick drinks - smoothies, freshly squeezed juice, thick cocktails. Straws are ideal for those with high sensitivity of teeth and for whom contact with cold drinks is undesirable. The straws may have a slight aftertaste that does not affect the taste of the drink.
The diameter of the tubes may vary, as this is a natural shape and we cannot influence its thickness. Three different diameters are available: Small - 5-8 mm Medium - 9-11 mm Large - 12-14 mm
The product should be stored in a dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and moisture.
