Fixing pads Protefix® (Protefiks) for mandibular prostheses are primarily recommended by the doctor at the stage of getting the patient used to the prosthesis. Pads are especially effective for unfavorable jaw structure, age-related deformation of the gums, and also for atrophy of the alveolar process of the jaw.
Application method
With small prostheses, cut the spacer to fit behind with scissors.
Immerse the pad in warm water for 10 seconds and let the water drain.
Put the pad on any side on the wet prosthesis. Leave the free back edge of the prosthesis 2 mm wide.
Press the pad to the prosthesis with the thumbs of both hands (starting from the center) so that the pad lies flat on the prosthesis.
Contraindication
Increased sensitivity to individual components.
Side effects
In some cases, allergic reactions are possible. If you suspect an allergic reaction, consult a doctor immediately.
Storage conditions
At a temperature not higher than + 25°С, in a dry place inaccessible to children.
